This is the online travel journal for my 27-day trip to Myanmar (Burma). I am a 40-something Northern Californian, married, 1 dog and 2 cats. I was a high school English teacher for nearly ten years, then an education foundation program officer for four years. I love architecture and interior design and have an unhealthy enthusiasm for home renovations. I just completed my third, an Eichler in Lucas Valley (Marin County).

A Month in Myanmar 
Good afternoon!
I was passed along the link to your blog from my friend, Eric Levinson. I will be traveling to Myanmar in April and am wondering if I might be able to pick your brain on some of the activities and methods of transport? I will only have about 7 days to hit the key sites: Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Lake Inle, so am hoping I may be able to seek your advice around transport, activities, etc?
